What We Actually Do
We book taxis across Melbourne, twenty four hours a day. Sedans and SUVs for everyday trips, maxi cabs seating up to eleven for groups and luggage, and silver service cars when the arrival matters. Most of our work is airport runs, group bookings and the trips people would rather have booked ahead than left to chance.
Why the Fare Estimate Is on the Page
The single thing passengers worry about in a taxi is the number on the meter at the end. Most taxi websites answer that with a phone number. We answer it with an itemised estimate before you commit to anything, and a fixed price by phone or email when you want certainty.
Every estimate on this site is worked out from the Safe Transport Victoria maximum fare rates through one fare engine. The fare calculator, the suburb pages and the estimate attached to your booking all call the same code, so no two pages here can show you different numbers for the same trip.
What We Will Not Tell You
That the estimate is what you will pay. It is not. The meter responds to the traffic on the day, so we show you a figure and the range around it rather than a promise we cannot keep. If you want a fixed price, call or email and we will agree a fixed fare before you travel. Where a real toll applies we price it, and where the airport rank fee applies we say so.
You will not find a star rating or a review count on this site either. When there are real ones to show, they will appear. Until then there is nothing here that has not been checked.
Booking with Us
Book online and the trip is stored the moment you confirm, with a reference sent back to you. Or call 0449 076 826 and read the trip to a person, which is still the better option for anything unusual or anything happening in the next few minutes.
