For participants making the same journey every week, the point of the service is that getting there stops being something you have to organise each time. We cover appointments, day programs, social and community participation, education, work travel and airport transfers where the trip sits within your approved supports.

Does Your Plan Cover Transport

Transport funding is not automatic and not every participant has it. Where it exists it usually sits in Core Supports, under a transport budget. If you are not sure what your plan includes, your support coordinator or plan manager can tell you in a minute, and the NDIS itself is the authority on what is funded.
